Don't buy it if..

  1. It has the word Lead Generation.
  2. It cost more than Google or Yahoo's Pay Per Click $0.25
  3. If they can't give you a free trial
  4. If they offer you "EXCLUSIVE" access to a zip code (Yeah like they own it...)
  5. If they dont have a money back program.
  6. If they cant generate people who are not already accessible on myspace or facebook. (230,000 new users added daily on myspace + more on facebook.)

Technology is at a place now where the playing field is leveled. Most leads are generated from the internet 80%. And the last time i checked everyone has access to the internet, even if it is from your local library.

It is next to free to get a website, add your VOW from your MLS and "ZAPOW" you have the most powerful real estate website. with up to the minute real estate information.

Hi there! What is a VOW and a ZAPOW?

I get a lot of those emails with lead generation and now they are calling as well....I think I can add one more criteria: " they offer pre-qualified leads, no Micky Mouse". Walt Disney would have to say something about this...

I love this post! Right on! There is a company who called me using the letters of the name, and I told them I didn't have time to talk until they told me who they are. When I heard the full name I knew enough to tell them I was not interested.

Can you imagine? A company hiding behind the acronym?

I get people callling all the time trying to "expand" or upgrade my web presence. If they bothered to look first, they would see that I'm already doing most of what they are selliing.

Yes my friends, Lead generation is like selling Air, Rain, & Sunshine something we all have the same amount of access to.

What is A VOW?

» VOW stands for "Virtual Office Website"
» A VOW is where the public can enter, provide contact information, get a password, describe property interest, and then conduct searches of all available MLS listings.
» The Participant can display all available MLS listings.
» All listing information details can be displayed.
» Display rules are set by the MLS.
» The visitor becomes a bona fide customer / client.
» A VOW website is a business site whereas an IDX site is an advertising site.
» A VOW real estate site allows you to give your site visitors / clients more powerful access to MLS data in exchange for their contact information and agreement to become a bona fide customer.
